Introduction
Lady Maiko will be screend in an accessible showing, using the latest system which displays subtitiles on the specs-shaped head mounted display. The future of fully accessible film showing will be discussed after the screening with the director.
Synopsis
A bilingual girl in Tsugaru dialect and Kagoshima dialect comes to the entertainment quarter of Kyoto to become a Maiko (apprentice Geisha). With the help of a peculiar professor, she is taken in as an apprentice at a teahouse. Can she become a full-fledged Maiko?
