Mamoru Oshii and others
After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University, he joined Tatsunoko Production in 1977 and worked for Studio Pierrot. Later, he became independent. His renowned animated films include Mobile Police PATLABOR (1&2), Ghost in the Shell and The Sky Crawlers. He has also directed a number of live-action films, such as Avalon and Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters.
