An old woman is climbing up the stairs leading to roof in a seven-floor building in Budapest. Her eyes sweep the view in steely dusk as she walks to the edge and steps off the roof. She falls seven floors and lands on the concrete with a loud bang. For a moment everything is silent and then the old woman gets up and walks towards entrance of the house. She sighs and looks up at the seemingly endless staircase and starts to walk up. On every floor, as she passes, the doors of flats open and we get to have a look at lives we saw earlier for a few moments while the old woman was falling. Winner of Best Director Award at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
