Introduction

Kaan Müjdeci
Born in Ankara. Müjdeci’s short film Day of German Unity (Tag der Deutschen Einheit) (2010) was bought by several TV channels. His thesis film at the New York Film Academy was screened within the scope of Berlinale’s Talent Campus 2011. His documentary about dog fights in central Anatolia, Fathers and Sons (Babalar ve Ogulları), served as a platform for him to write and direct his first feature film entitled Sivas.
