Wim Wenders: An Oscar-nominated German filmmaker, born in Düsseldorf in1945.He studied medicine and philosophy.
Michael Glawogger: Born in Austria in 1959. He died in Africa during 1-year travel around the world for his new documentary.
Michael Madsen: Born in Denmark in 1972. He studied art history and works as filmmaker and conceptual artist.
Robert Redford: An Oscar-nominated American actor/director born in 1936. He received an Oscar for his directorial debut.
Margreth Olin: Born in Norway in 1970. Studied journalism & documentary filmmaking. She focuses on social issues.
Karim Ainouz: Brazilian film director/visual artist, born in 1966. His art installations have been exhibited widely.
